Strong Families, Strong Communities

About Us

Family Resource Networks are organizations  designed to meet the needs of children and families in their communities.
FRNs are community staples for primary prevention, service coordination, needs and resource assessment, education, outreach and community collaboration.

Family Support Centers are warm and welcoming places in the community where any family member with children up to age 18 or pregnant families can go, not only in times of need, but as a regular part of day-to-day life. Family Support Centers offer parent education classes, child development activities, parent-to-parent support groups, after school and academic enrichment, General Educational Development (GED) and literacy instruction, health information, and referrals to programs, activities and services in the community. FSC services are voluntary and available to all interested families.

At the Marion County Family Resource & Support Network we have combined the core services of the Family Resource Network and the family-focused programming of the Family Support Center to fuel a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for all children & families in Marion County, West Virginia.
